(See registration and hotel information) But helping exhibitors optimize their MINExpo experience is not the only purpose for the briefing. It also gives first-time exhibitors the opportunity to become familiar with the show; to meet and share information with their fellow exhibitors; to meet the show management team and the contractors who will provide services at the show, and to tour the Las Vegas Convention Center, site of MINExpo. It makes for a full and productive day (see Schedule of Events) and is preceded by a reception the previous evening. Two of the trade show industry’s leading experts—Skip Cox from Exhibit Surveys, Inc., and Doug MacLean of MacLean Marketing—will conduct the general and break-out sessions that will help you with practical ideas and strategies that have been proven successful at trade shows over the years. Their sessions will include:
The event begins with an evening reception on Thursday, January 24. It is informal (business casual attire) and it’s a great opportunity to meet your fellow exhibitors. Following the seminars on Friday, January 25, an hour has been set aside to meet the show managers and many contractors who provide services at the show. (See the Schedule of Events for names of contractors who will be present.) Then, an optional tour of the Convention Center will be conducted. If you have never been to the Convention Center, or simply wish to reacquaint yourself with the facility, you are welcome to participate. Please indicate your interest in a tour on the registration form. The reception, breakfast, lunch and all seminars are complimentary. Special room rates are available at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel for Exhibitor Briefing attendees. |
