Start Early to Obtain U.S. VisasIt can take several months—and sometimes require a personal interview—to obtain a visa to visit the United States. So it is not too early to apply for your visa or to urge your international visitors to apply for theirs. The International Section of the MINExpo® website contains a visa application form, instructions, a list of U. S. embassies and consulates, and important update notices. Currently, 27 countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program, so that visitors from those countries may be eligible to visit the U. S. on business or tourism without a visa. International visitors may request a Letter of Invitation from National Mining Association when they register for MINExpo. NMA automatically receives the request and will provide a letter by email once registration is complete. |
