MINExpo® changes will benefit exhibitors


MINExpo® 2008 exhibitors and attendees will benefit from changes that will make the entire show experience smoother, more efficient and more hassle-free.

Here are some of the important new features:

  • Helpful reminders via Exhibitor eNews, with hyperlinks to action items, to simplify and streamline exhibitors' pre-show logistics planning.
  • A completely on-line exhibitor manual to expedite the entire ordering process for exhibitors. Many official show contractors offer on-line ordering—eliminating the need to manually fill out forms. PDF files also are available if you prefer to fax or mail your forms.
  • An on-line matchmaking feature will improve the efficiency of show attendees and facilitate their access to exhibitors. As part of advance registration, attendees will be asked to indicate those products and services they are interested in seeing at the show. Then, as part of their registration confirmation, attendees will receive a list of the exhibitors matching the products and services they indicated. The list will include a link to the website of each listed exhibitor. Registration opens in October, 2007.
  • A new on-line directory of exhibitors. In advance of the show, attendees will be able to create a personal planner of the companies they want to visit at the show. Using product category and keyword searches (e.g., by country, state, company name), attendees can scan the directory of exhibitors for those products and services that interest them. Attendees then can arrive at the show with a "shopping list," optimizing the time they spend with each potential supplier. Exhibitors benefit from months of pre-show visibility and links to their home pages.
