Exhibitors Must Register All Personnel Online, Including Dealers and Distributors
For example, all exhibitor personnel are required to register for MINExpo® online. This avoids complications of registering on-site at the time of the show and allows compliance with security regulations requiring identification of all personnel during exhibit installation. All of the details relating to exhibitor registration can be found on the MINExpo website. Click on the Exhibitor Services tab, then click on Registration. Remember that exhibitors receive four complimentary staff badges for every 100 square feet of booth space, with a cap of 75 badges. These complimentary badges are limited to company personnel working in the booth, including models, demonstrators, etc. Additionally, your exhibitor appointed contractor (EAC) will not be allowed on the exhibit floor during show days unless the EAC is provided with a staff badge(s). Beyond the 75 complimentary badges, a discounted advance registration fee of $25 per person is charged prior to August 8, 2008, and increases to $50 after August 8. Exhibitors occupying 5,000 square feet or more of exhibit space also are entitled to complimentary badges for their dealers and distributors. Four badges are provided for each 100 square feet of exhibit space, with a cap of 75 badges. Beyond that number, dealers and distributors must pay an advance registration fee of $100 per person, or $200 per person for registration at the show. (Note: dealers or distributors working in an exhibitor’s booth must have an exhibitor badge.) |

The big show still is more than four months away, but it’s not too early to be thinking about important details—like exhibitor registration.
