Exhibitors should be mindful that all of their personnel who will be working at MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2012 must be registered online.
This serves two purposes: it avoids all the hassle of registering at the Las Vegas Convention Center at the time of the show. And it allows compliance with security regulations which require identification during installation of your exhibit.
Exhibitors also should note: August 10 is the deadline for discounted advance registrations once all your complimentary exhibitor staff badges are used up.
For every 100 square feet of booth space that an exhibitor has reserved, the exhibitor gets four complimentary exhibitor staff badges, with a cap of 75. These badges must be used for people working in the booth, including models and demonstrators.
Dealers and distributors who may be working at your booth also must have exhibitor badges, as must your exhibitor appointed contractor (EAC) during show days.
Once you use up all your complimentary badges, additional people pay a discounted advance registration fee of $25 per person prior to August 10. That fee increases to $50 per person after August 10.
Exhibitors occupying 5,000 square feet or more receive four complimentary badges per every 100 square feet of booth space for Dealers and Distributors, with a cap of 75 complimentary Dealer/Distributor badges.
All Dealers and Distributors in excess of the complimentary number pay a discounted advance registration fee of $100 per person ($200 onsite). These badges are not for Dealers or Distributors working in the exhibitor’s booth. Dealers or Distributors working in the booth are required to have exhibitor badges.
Badges will start being mailed on August 3. For registrations made after August 31, badges will need to be picked up at Exhibitor Registration in the North and South halls of the Convention Center.
Exhibitors also must remember that some of the people working in your booth may require visas to enter the country. Visas take time to obtain, so the process should begin as soon as possible.
